BE 12.5 installing clients on Server 2008 Enterprise

I have a domain with BE 12.5 doing backups, and have just switched out my old DC's for 2 new DC's running Svr 2008 Ent. I am trying to move over/install the BE Client on either of the 2 systems, but am getting "ERROR: Installation failed with error 1603".

I'm doing this using the domain admin login and password. Any clues?

Are u trying  to install Complete Backup exec or just trying to install remote agent on the server ?

 I guess following the instruction mentioned in the doc reffered by twinkle will resolve the issue . but incase if it does'nt you can perform the local install refer the following document   http://support.veritas.com/docs/265736  If you server si 64 bit server make sure you copy the raws64bit folder

if you are installing the remote agent, please try it by manual installation, i.e. not by push install.

Please open the registry editor and open the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager
If the "PendingFileRenameOperations" contains any values the agent installation will fail.
You might also want to check the same keys in ControlSet001 and ControlSet002.

Copy these values to a text file and then clear the values in the registry. After that try to install the agents.
After installation of the agent copy the values from the text file back into the registry key(s)
