Hello.
I'm getting the following error in BE 12.5: "general acess denied" when coming to the end of the Wizard when creating a backup2disk folder.
I recently changed the server name, and then followed the Symantec directions using the "Backup Exec Utility".
Everything went well, there were no errors but I lost access to the "backup2disk" folder.
Under devices nothing is listed.
I tried the Wizard a few times with the same error.
I rebooted too in case something was "stuck"
I tried all the available volumes.
I've tried it logged in as the domain admin and the local admin too.
Any ideas?

Ensure all BE services except the Remote Agent service are running under the non local system account with appropriate priveleges..
And the BESA should have full control permissions on the folder
