Hey guys,
I have BE 12 installed on the same server as the Exchange 2003. I used to backup Exchange to drive D: however due to space limitations we started backing it up to a USB storage device attached to the Exchange box. used to work fine. Now if I try to restore from backup I immediately receive the following message:
Job Failed
Restore xxxx --
The job failed with the following error: Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again.
I checked under Media--> Online Media and I see that backup IMG file, highlighted in yellowish
So I ejected the USB drive and recommect it.. didn't help..
Restarted the server, reconnected the USB again, same thing...
Backups are being writted to this USB without problems, why can't I restore from it ?
Any idea about how to fix this issue ?
I do backup to Tape as well so in case of a total disaster, I can recover, however restoring Exchange from Tape will take forever...
