BE 9.1 and Sony TSL 11000 Autoloader.

Hi.

I have a Windows 2000 SP4 Server with Backup Exec Build 9.1 4691.

On this server we've connected a Sony TSL 11000 Autoloader. At first this worked fine, but when the server is rebooted the Autoloader changes it name from Sony 1 to Sony 2.

Any suggestions why this is happening.

In order to troubleshoot the problem, kindly refer the following technote link.

Also, Uninstall the existing device drivers and reinstall the latest Veritas drivers. Run tapeinst.exe to install Veritas driver.
"TAPEINST.EXE" is located in the directory x:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT (TAPEINST.EXE" is an automated installation application for installing tape device drivers )
