BE2010 Service error. EventID 57802 An internal error (137) occurred in object -1.

Hi everybody,

I just installed BE2010 on a fresh copy Windows 2008 R2 x64 Std server with SQL 2008 Std.
(All my regional settings are english). Then I installed BE hotfix 348284.

But when I try to start BE services I always receive this error :

The Backup Exec Server Service did not start.   An internal error (137) occurred in object -1. (Event ID 57802)

There is no dependency error on my server.

Has anybody seen something like this ? I will be very happy if somebody can help to solve that.

Try the following

1) Stop the SQL service used by Backup Exec

2) Browse to X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Data, Copy the BEDB_DAT.MDF & BEDB_DAT.LDF files to your desktop

3) Start the SQL service

4) Open BEUtility.exe  from X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec and perform copy database, refer to the below link 
     http://support.veritas.com/docs/286093  ( Make sure you select the MDF & LDF files from the desktop)

5) If the above does not work proceed with repair installation.

I found a clue.

BE2010 didnt worked with SQL 2008 x64 Enterprise. But I removed everything then I re-installed BE with bundled SQL2005 express. Then all worked well. :)

I will follow this clue.
