Hello,

with Backup Exec 2012, do I still have to install the MAPI/CDO to the Exchange-Server? (Exchange 2010)

With Exchange 2010, MAPI/CDO is no longed a requirement as it has been replaced by EWS

EDIT: This is what the BE 2012 Admin Guide states:

Exchange Server requirements Description

To back up the databases on a Database

Availability Group (DAG) you must install the

Remote Agent for Windows Systems on all

the servers in the DAG.

Tosupport the Granular Recovery Technology

option, you must install Remote Agent for

Windows Systems on all Client Access Servers

in the site.
