BE2012 cannot backup VM ESXi4.0

I have BE2012 backup server on Windows 2003 SP2 server (phisical server)

and I create job for backup VM Guest (Windows Server) that on VM Host (ESXi4.0)

I already Install Remote agent on VM Guest I test credential is OK

but backup are not complete and have error on BE2012 server.

Backup [SERVERNAME (VM Guest)] -Full -- The job failed with the following error: Unable to create a snapshot of the virtual machine. The virtual machine may be too busy to quiesce to take the snapshot.

How can i resolve this problem??

Do check if the remote agent version matches that of the media server or not...Secondly, as you mentioned ESXi, is it licensed for vStorage API for Data Protection ?

from your web link, I check on VM Guest

It not have VMware snapshot provider

and found BeVssProvider service on window service

but when i run "post-thaw-script.bat"

it show error (please see in attached file)

Is this cause of backup VM Guest error ?

and how i resolve this?

Also test if you are able to take a snapshot of the machine from the ESX. May be there is some issues with the snapshotting itself.

ESXi is free license

not have licensed for vStorage API for Data Protection

this license need for backup VM Guest?

BE uses the vStorage API to do its backup so you would need to get a paid version of ESX
