Backing up Data Files on a NAS

I just recently purchased an EMC NAS. I wanted to know, how I can backup the data files on the NAS? Can I just map a drive and allow Backup Exec connect to the mapped drive or do I have to purchase NetBackup? I just need to back the data files and not the NAS configuration files.

Even though you cannot install the Remote Agent on the NAS, you must purchase one and install the serial on the media server

If you cannot connect from the Backup Selections pane, try creating a user defined share using the IP address
