Backup Exec 10d error - "SQL error number: "0011"."

Hi,

I was backing up an SQL database with a particular job.  When I removed the database for the backup schedule I received the following error in the event viewer on the server that the database was located:

An error occured while attempting to log in to the following server: "<withheld>".
     SQL error number: "0011".
SQL error message: "[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).] SQL Server does not exist or access
     denied.

I have checked all of the user logins and passwords and everything seems to be correct.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bart

I have the same problem with backupexec 11d and trying to backup SQL2005 database. Symantec backup completes without any error. But still I see these ERROR messages on the event log. Any fix?

Have you edited the job's selection lsit in Text Mode rather than GUI mode?

Edit in Text Mode and remove the non-existant database from there
