Backup Exec 11d

I recently took an IT job at a local company in the town where I reside. We have two Win 2003 Servers, and around 50 workstations. Right now here is how we run backup exec, it backs up the DC and the SQL server, Full backups every tuesday at 1am, and diff backups every other night, and we change the tape every monday during the day, we are using HP LTO3 ultrium rws. Anyways, I went on vacation for two weeks and the tapes didnt get changed..so yesterday I come in and start working on stuff, and the SQL server shuts down. Backup Exec is stored on the SQL server. It shut down because the C: drive on the SQL filled up with back ups. Ive tried inserting other tapes in and forcing a backup, but it fails. With this error:
e000fe36 - Corrupt data encountered. See the job log for details, so I click on the link to check out the error message, and it says something about VSS and not being started, or being restarted during the backup. I checked out VSS and it wasnt started, so I started it, and tried to redo a backup, but now its complaining about the media set, and being overwritable. I put a tape in that is listed in the media set that ISNT overwrittable according to backup exec. I am new to Back Up Exec, so any light shed on this will help me. Thanks
