Check that your target media, e.g. tape drive,  is not offline or paused.  If it is, unpause it.

Hello,

"Queued" state means Baclup Exec is not able to find the target.
1  : Go to the Devices TAB-->Right Click on the Server name and click on "Paused", right click again and click on "Unpause"

If did not work:
1  : Turn OFF the server and the library
2  : Turn ON the library first, let it boot
3  : Turn ON the server and check for the Device Manager for the Library.

Hope this helps....

1) Go to Tools --> Wizards ---> Device Configuration Wizard to install the Symantec drivers for the tape drive
2) Power down both the server and tape drive
3) Power up the tape drive
5) Power up the server

Check the Windows Device Manager to see that the tape drive is functioning normally and is using Symantec drivers.  In BE, check that the tape drive is online and not paused.

Re-submit your job.

Hi,

Could also be referring to a tape drive error.
Download the HP Library and Tape Tools here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?pnameOID=406731&locale=en_US&t...

Run the diagnostics to eliminate any hardware issues...

Laters!
