Backup Exec 12.5 cannot catalog an offsite LTO4 media from older version of BE. The system is running on Windows Server 2003 R2 using Quantum Scalar i500 library with 2 LTO4 drives. BE mounts the tape to the first tape drive for a little while then it will unmount tape, and then it will try the second drive and basically enter a loop of mounting the tape between the 2 drives. I have to manually cancel the job after over an hour, the tape was mount about 30 times. There is not error logged, but still 0% complete. Tried several times with different catalog option, same result. Media description from BE is "(Unrecognized Media)". Any help will be greatly appreciated.
