I have been getting this error (E00084F4) for over a week now. I am running version 12 of backup exec and not had any problems till now.
I have got 2 servers and a NAS in this problem. Server 1 has the folders that i am trying to backup. Server 2 has backup exec installed and the nas is where the backups are stored. So, at 19:00 backup exec runs the backup as usual but will stop at any point stating that there has been an unknown error. V-79-57344-34036 - An unknown error has occurred.
Every now and then, a backup is done to an external drive that is plugged into the backup exec server. This has no problems when in use with backup exec.
There is nothing helpful on the net regarding this error. I have already set the services to start with a specific domain user account.
Can anyone help me out here?
