Backup Exec 2010 R2 - Help with Tape / Fibre

Hello

I have just got Backup Exec 2010 R2 - and we have a new Quantum Scaler i40 - we purchased the extra license for the second drive and Backup exec see everything.

The question I have is how do you configure this to go over the fibre? Since I have 2 4GB fibre connections to the Quatum and the job is running at like 300-400MB (I understand about the small files take time) but did not know where you can configure to passit through the Fibre or if it defaults to the NIC?

Here is the link for Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) for Backup Exec 2010 R2.

You can check the HCL if the Robotic Library that you have connected is compatible with BE when conneted via fibre channel or not. If it shows to be compatible then you can connect the Library to the server via fibre channel and Backup Exec will transfer the data to the library via this fibre channel.
