Backup Exec 2010 R3 SP4 (Physical) / Exchange 2010 (Virtual)

This problem started after upgrading backup exec 2010 r3 sp3 to sp4. Every other day the backup of exchange mailbox failing with following error.

V-79-57344-759 - Unable to complete the operation for the selected resource using the specified options for the fo...

No changes on exchange server. Was working fine for several years. Also, the memory and cpu usage on exchange server is normal

Are you backing up to disk or to tape? Verify the resources on the Backup Exec server also. If you run the backup with GRT turned off, do you experience the same issue? Refer to the following article for more information:

phk, how can I re-push the agent? It says it is already installed?

Laurie Downey, I am backing up to tapes. I did not try backup with GRT off.

I would agree with PKH in pushing the agent out again, to ensure it is updated. Try right clicking on the server from the Backup Exec console, then selecting the option for "Update". If an update is applied a reboot will be required on the Exchange Server.
