Wrong tape used for Monthly Backup

Hi Guys,

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Need a little help with some mess from yesterday 25/12/2014

So we have 4 tapes labelled week 1 to week 4 and a Monthly tape. I was suppose to backup to Monthly tape yesterday 25/12/2014 and instead used tape labelled Week 2. 

I have looked up about relabelling which apparently does a quick erase before allowing to re-label which obviously isn't an option here. 

Here is the schedule and I want to know my options? 

Thursday to Tuesday Differential tape and Wednesday's any of the labelled tapes. 

I would be grateful if anyone could help.

P.S The tapes go out to third party backup specialists on weekly basis i.e. next week they will be expecting the tape labelled Monthlydd-yy and not Week-x.. 

Tool used for backup is BackupExec 2010

...if you've used the incorrect tape, then simply relabel the tape you should've used for the job you now require it for.

If the 3rd party is only looking at the physical label pasted on the tape, you can just change the physical label.

If the 3rd party is inspecting the actual label written to the tape, then you would need to rerun your backup to the correct tape.  If you relabel the tape, it would wipe out the contents of the tape.
