Backup Exec 2012 - ESX Server

Hi

I have added a ESX Server to backup exec 2012 so I can back up the virtual server itself as a whole. I had backups running and restoring successfully. Since a reboot the creditials are failings anf backups do not work.

The ESX Server passes ok and the ha_datacenter passes ok. Two other win 2008 servers pass ok. The remaining 8 win 2008 servers fail. All use the same login. Nothing has changed.

Verifiy that these services are running as Domain\Administrator under "Log On AS"

Backup Exec Agent Browser

Backup Exec Device & Media Service

Backup Exec Job Engine

Backup Exec Management Service

Backup Exec Server

Also, right click and view the properties of each under the Log On tab and verify the password then click apply.. restart all services again from the B.E. console.

Hello, what is the error the servers fail with?

Same error as when trying to test credentials.

'The logon account does not have valid credentials. Ensure that the user name and password are correct in the logon account. '

Thanks for your help.

Although the credentials still complain the backup runs ok. I haveread this is a known bug in the version I have. But all is working since resetting the passwords.

Thanks
