Backup Exec 2012 Read and Write Permission on NAS

Hi,

How do i create a login account on backup exec service account for the read and write permission.

i could create it on NAS or backup exec.

Hi tunji,

 

This becomes a lot easier if the NAS is AD-integrated. If it can connect into Active Directory, do so. It simply means you add the BESA to the NAS as an administrator, and it has all the necessary rights it will require.

Your NAS device may have a Adminitrator console from where you can add the Backup Exec account the users on the NAS device and also give it Administrative credentials/
