Backup Exec 2012 - Server Backup wont append to tape.

I have set up a server group of 18 servers which every weekend get backed up to an LT05 tape. I associate a media set to the tape which allows infinate append and overwrite protection for 4 weeks. All the servers backup to the tape exept for our virtual oracle server. For some reason this backup asks for overwritable media to be inserted even though the job is set to apend to data. Theres is plenty of space left on this tape for the backup to go ahead but for some reason its inisiting on overatable media being used?

Any help would be gratefully received as this is a critical server and i cant think of anything else to try.

Click on the Backup Exec icon > Configuration and Settings > Backup Exec settings, then Select Storage. Make sure you have Overwrite Recyclable media contained in the targeted media setbefore overwriting scratch media chosen.

Also make sure you have all of your Live updates installled.

Check for any alerts that are waiting for a response.
