Where is your backup sets located on tape, on removable disks or fixed disks?

My storage is Disk storage. Backup sets located on same server.

May be due to DLM the expired backup sets are not deleted. Refer to the below article on DLM

If you are not on SP4, then run LiveUpdate a couple of times to upgrade to SP4 and the latest hotfixes
