Backup Exec Administration Console via firewall

Good day!
I had necessity remote access for operate backup jobs on Symantec Backup Exec 12.
On the server party it is had Backup Exec 12, the network is protected of firewalls. What ports need to be opened on firewalls, for management from the outside by means of Backup Exec Administration Console?

The remote admin console (RAC) uses RPC to connect (potentially over a random range of ports) and as such I don't think any documentation exists to configure the RAC across a firewall.

Suggestions are
- Configure a VPN connection that allows all ports access across the VPN.
- Use RDP to either the media server or a workstation inside the firewall that has the RAC configured. RDP would be on port 3389 (although this is customozable by registry modification.)

The problem consists that information security policy does not approve opening RDP or all ports at once, the range is necessary. Can any solution?
