We are experiencing problems with our Backup exec installation.
We have currently 8 windows servers running 2000 server and each of these servers is backup using remote agents of varying types (exchange, notes, SQL).
We are having problems where the backup appears to hang after backing up the system state. It started with just one server and Ive managed to replicate the issue on a number of different servers. The backup job states that its running, and appears to complete the SS backup of the server but seems to hang when moving onto the next server in the list.
I have tried everytihng including windows backups of the system state to determine if there is any corruption, and even a complete de/reindstallation of the software and all the agents.
This has worked perfectly for months and I cannot appear to get a full backup of our network, Ive tried reinstalling and running without applying any patches also thinking it may have been an installed patch that has caused the issue, but still get the same results.
Can anyone help.
