ok went to the link http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH60721

Downloaded BEUpdatesOps.exe   Ran that and it says Symantec Backup Exec was not detected on this computer. This appliation requires Symantec backup Exec.

Try Closing the Backup Exec GUI after starting LiveUpdate.

I 've had a customer with Backup Exec 2010 R3 who also got a failure when running liveupdate.

We tried it twice, then we startet Liveupdate and closed the Backup Exec GUI - then the update finished normally

@Georg Kabas

Tried that and they failed once again.

I think that in my case it's not exactly problem of LU because installation fails at the end:

I think that problem is connected with failover clustered media servers.

Configuring cluster in BE it creates computer account in Active Directory in level "Computers". After this I've moved this object to different level: BUILDINGS\SERVERS. Everything was OK (backups, restores). And now I've observed that applying this patch BE tries to make something in Active Directory once again. This time it creates in "Computer" level a folder "BEServer" (class of object "serviceConnectionPoint"). I have no idea what is going on :(

Additional information: This is the second HF for my BE. First one was successfully installed but it was before I've configured failover cluster on BE. It was just after BE installation.

That's what my situation is doing as well.. It gets to the very end and says failed. Then shows the picture that I posted in the very first post.
