Backup Exec Remote Agent has been lost - server BSOD

I have a Windows 2003(SP1) Domain Controller that just started getting the BSOD during the backup of this server. When this happens the backup job does not continue on to the next server.
Backup Server = Windows 2003 SP1
Server with problem = Windows 2003 SP1 Domain Controller
Using Backup Exec for Windows Server Version 9.1 with the latest Service Packs and hot fixes.

I am successful backing up some portions (less than 100GB) of the server with the problem.

I moved the problem server to the end of the backup job because this error will stop the job from continuing to the next server in the job list.

Hi Russell,

When exactly are you getting the BSOD?

Are you running a backup job of too many servers?

Can you ping the remote server?
