I have an IBM server running Windows Server 2003 Std. Ed. and Backup Exec 9.0 for Windows Servers that today, keeps prompting me to connect to the media server with username, password and domain. When I enter the requested information, it says, "The Backup Exec Server system service is not responding. The service is not running or is not installed."
When I go into the services MMC, the Backup Exec Server is stuck in a state of 'Starting'. I have rebooted the server and it does the same thing.
Any ideas? My gratitude ahead of time!
