Backup Exec don't find the second tape when it ask for another tape

Good morning,

I  need your help to solve a problem here. 

A few days ago our DTL tape was broken and IBM had to change it. No problem, we have warranty so everything gone perfectly.

Now I’m having a problem, when my backup needs more then one tape the BackupExec can’t find the second tape. What I’m trying to say is that, the backup starts normaly, but something the backup needs a second tape but when I put the second tape the BackupExec can’t find it.

I tried with NT Backup and no problem. When the NT Backup asks for the second tape it used it without problem.

I’m still using the Backup 8.5 I have the CD for 9.0 but the keys that are in the CD are not accepted when the setup ask for it?

Any of you have an idea?

Hi, did you try to re-inventory your 2nd tape to you backup tape pool ?
