Stop the RALUS service and edit the ralus.cfg and find the line "Software\Symantec\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\Engine\RALUS\Encoder="

Set Encoder=Latin-1 and restart the RALUS service.Rerun the backup and check.
