Backup Job failing

I have suddenly started getting backup failures on 2 backup jobs we have running on a dayly basis.  We havnt made any changes to the server or backup sets so not sure why this has suddenly started happening.

I am getting the error - "Final error: 0xe0000f16 - The operation failed to acquire the minimum number of drives and media needed"

I have restarted the backup services and the auto tape loader but this didnt work.  I have also run the veritas assist which gives seven errors. 1 about the admin password, 1 regarding drivers (which i dont think are true as we havnt changed anything for years without problems) and 5 regarding the server needing restarting.

I havnt restarted the server yet but dont think this is the cause. 

Can somebody advise on this please.

Hi

I am trying to follow the steps on the 1st article but can see where the device and media selection is in step 2.  

I can get a test run to work but the backup will not run

I have run a one time backup and this worked ok, so i am really struggling to see why my usual scheduled backups are not working.  I have even recreated the backup jobs and this still doesnt work and gives the same error.

Can anybody help on this?
