Hi All,
I've got this setting installed:
Windows Server 2008 x64 Std.
MOSS 2007 + SP1
SQL Server 2008 Standard
Can i backup that using BE 12.5 with the MOSS 2007 agent ?
previously i tried to install SEP in WIndows Server 2008 and it failed :|

To All,
Finally I was able to make the Agent working, it seems that the Agent is also using port 10000 as the default port while my Site was configured on port 10000 too.
the solution is to change the port number to something else using this URL: http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/303736.htm
so now the beremote.exe can be executed from services.msc.
Cheers !

You should be able to backup this configuration with Backup Exec 12.5.

OK, at last, to day I finally managed to push install the RAWS+AOFO to my Windows Server 2008 x64 to backup my MOSS 2007 SP1 on SQL Server 2008 Std.
and the question is how can i actually make the server talk back to my backup server ?
I've restarted the server already but still the Server could not be contacted with the Backup Exec management server.
any good idea would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

Again, the problem still exist
I tried to manually install the RAWS x64 and then i got the error message saying
"Unable to obtain settings for Remote Agent Publishing from the registry"
occurs after launching the Backup Exec Remote Agent Utility and clicking on the Publishing Tab
and then after gooling around I've found http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/305894.htm but still not helping me much with this Windows Server 2008 x64 Standard edition.
any idea please ?
