I have backup exec install on a windows 2003 server and the remote agent installed on a mac xserve. The installation did go through without any errors and when I start up the remote agent it starts without any errors. When I go to the 2003 server and click on the xserve itself it imediatly pops up with a user authentication screen. I give it the root username and password that I used to connect to the xserve with. But it keeps on asking me vir the username and password. If I cancel that and try it again it tells me that a version of the remote agent should be installed on the xserve. But it is installed and running.
What ells am I missing?
