Backup for SharePoint-Content-DB takes several hours (Backup Exec 12.5 )

Hi,

overnight, the Backup for the SharePoint-Content-Database (to Tape (with SharePoint Agent)) needs several hours. It grew from 1,5 hours onto 6 hours. In the Log i can see that the quantity of files in the Content-DB also grew multiple.

Does anyone know this problem? Does anyone have a solution for it?

Initially the problem is solved. Unfortunately I cannot give a solution of the problem.

I did not installed an update, or made fundamental attitudes in BackupExec or in the SharePoint. After 3 weeks, the problem solved itself, and everything ran again like before.

Sometimes it is worth to sit out the problem :)
