Backup from specific slots

Hi,
 
we have a Dell Power Vault TL4000 Tape Library running Backupexec 11d on Windows 2003 server, the tape device has 44 slots.
 
When we create a backup it always pick up the first available tape from the slots. I read your article 206843 was helpfull but i am not seeing the autoloader in my backup exec screen.
 
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hello....

There are a few things regarding your issue you could workaround, first of all make sure you are using the 7170 engine and you have installed the Service Pack 2 for Backup Exec (Live Update from Symantec will take care in case you need it).

Besides that, you should review if there is Library Expansion Option (LEO) license key installed on your console.

If the both above are already acomplished then you could run again the device wizzard on your console. (http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/253974.htm) and test again.
