Backup growing large

We have backup exec 2010 in our environment. Recently I noticed that the weekend full backup is growing unusully large. We have not done any changes to files selection either. Our company is small.I noticed from last week to this week there are 4500 + files more than the previous week.

Does anyone know an issue like this?

Where are the backups targeted (Disk or Tape) ?

Compare the backup size of the old job and the new job in the job monitor.

Check the selection list (View selection details)

BE cannot backup files which are not present on your disk.  You may have not changed your selection list, but if you have selected a folder and the files within the folder increased, then you would see the corresponding amount of additional files backed up.
