Backup job keeps failing

Hello

I have 1 specific backup job which isnt running at the moment. When the job starts it brings up the queued warning where it needs an overwritable media inserted. The media was overwritable when the other jobs were working but it changes so you cannot overwrite media for 10 days. This should happen after the affected job has finished.

any help would be appreciated

I guess the 1st job has a media set with 10 days of overwrite protection period.

You will not be able to overwrite the tape but if you configure 2nd job to append then the backup should

work fine provided the tape appendable.

And the two jobs use the same media set

You might have to change the properties of the media set...
