Backup to Diskpool then copy to tape

Is this possible with Backup Exec 2010 R2?

Coming from a TSM background, I found it handy to be able to backup to a disk pool and then run a job that copies what's in the disk pool to a tape.

Sure definitely.  You can backup to a Backup-to-Disk (B2D) folder and then duplicate this backup to tape.

1) Go to the Device tab and create a B2D folder.

2) Go to Job Setup and create a policy

3) Add in a backup template and target it to the B2D folder created in Step 1.

4) Add in a duplicate template and target it to your tape drive

5) Create a backup selection list and generate your jobs using the policy.
