BackupExec 2012 v14 - Issues with LTO4 compression

Hi,

I have problems to compress with LTO4 800/1600GB, actually i am using Backupexec 2012 v14 with tape drive Super loader 3.

Any thoughts of why are not compressing? already have enable hardware compression.

Let me know any comments.

Make sure that in the Windows Device Manager, the tape library is listed as an Unknown Medium Changer and is using a Microsoft driver. What is the compression ratio that you are getting? Switch to software compression and see what is the compression ratio. It should roughly be the same as that for hardware compression
