Beginer does't understand why backup is failing...

Hi

Is this on a 2003 Server? If so please look at the following

1. Make sure that your Backup Exec Account has full admin permissions on that server.

2. Please check the status of your VSS service. It should be set on manual.

3. Use your CLI & run this command to check your VSS status: vssadmin list writers
Check the information displayed after the running the command.

4.Also have a look at the windows event logs for possible errors recorded.
