Hello,
we set a RMAN backup with a oracle policy.
Despite the backup jobs ends correctly with 0 in some different child we got an error that tells:
Error bprd (pid=617020) Failed sending the results of the backup to DARS: ERR - Unable to connect to <instance nme>. ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied.
Error bprd (pid=617020) Failed to store the results of the backup in the DARS database
I read something about this error and my understanding is that something goes wrong while netbackup is trying to write information in its own Database Agent Requester Service database.
The first thing I would be sure is that the backup is correctly done (it would be so).
Then I can figure out that at the end of the RMAN scritp netbackup needs some credential to login again back to the database collection something to store in the DARS but this login fails for unconfigured or wrong credentials.
Where should I configure these credentials?
Thanks

Hello,
thats rather question for support, DARS is a low-level NetBackup component , mostly unconfigurable at a backup admin level.
