Bringing Autoloader and media online

I just installed a Dell PVT-124T LTO-2 Autoloader in a W2K SP3 server. I configured partitions out of the 16 slots. The first problem I have is that Backup Exec is not reading the media in the magazines. When I try and perform an inventory it says there are no idle devices. Not quite sure what to try next. ANy help appreciated.

Are there any alerts in backup exec?
