Hi All
So I am having some issues with the CPS retention. It is setup to save every 2h, 7 days, 5 weeks but it deletes the snapshot every night at 12:10 AM. The hourly snapshots work well. I understand that there can be some issues with MS VSS deleting CPS snap shots but I have VSS disabled and it is a dedicated server so there is really nothing else runing then CPS and BackupExec
If any one could give me some ideas what to look for I would be greatfull.
Following errors apperas on the CPS log.
Failed to create snapshot on server 'ACU-SVADM05', volume 'E:\' containing backup destination 'CP Backup Destination'.
Snapshot created on '2/28/2007 7:00:26 AM' for server 'ACU-SVADM05', volume 'E:\' containing backup destination 'CP Backup Destination' has been deleted by an external source.
