Can't install service pack 2

Help!

I am trying to install service pack 2 and I keep getting the following error message:

"The feature that you are trying to use is on a network resource or path which is unavailable"

and:

"VERITAS Backup Exec for Windows Servers.msi"

Hi Bill,

Since you are updating Backup Exec software with service pack, there a few other files which are required to be updated during this process. Hence update install would ask you to insert the Backup Exec installation cd.

When prompted insert the Backup Exec cd and point to the location winnt/install/be folder for the file "Veritas backup exec for windows servers.msi". Click on OK.

The install would then go smooth.

Atique, My disk is be 9.0. We upgraded to 10.d online. The instal will not proceed using the .msi file from my disk. Any suggestions?

Hi Bill,

Since you have upgraded to BE 10d online and you dont have a download of the installation files. In this case you would need to download the Installation files and then point the msi file in the location winnt/install/be while installing SP 2.
