When I try to open our single-server farm (SQL is on a different server but all WSS functions are on a single machine) with our standard Backup Exec service account, it fails. However, if I add Administrator (domain admin) to the account list and try with it, everything works.
Our service account is already a member of the Domain Admins group so I'm not sure why it's not working with that account. The remote agent log is completely worthless - it gives a generic "access denied" type message but NO clue as to what resource is throwing that.
Any ideas?
