When I cancel a job, the job cancels correctly in the software and shows as such in the job log, but the drive seems to ignore the command, and keeps the tape in the drive and the job running. There's no record of this in Job Monitor, as noted, but there's still an activity symbol on the drive concerned, and it continues to write to the tape.
To stop the job entirely, I have to shut down the server and then restart the drive to unload the tape.
What could I do to stop this happening?
We're running on Windows Server 2003, BE 10.1d, with an Overland Powerloader device, and two tape drives.
