Cannot uninstall Backup Exec

I am having various problems with Backup Exec starting with my scheduled job only entering the ready state and doing nothing else. I then noticed that my backup drive showed both online and offline and saw similarities with the following post on the forum: -

I followed all the troubleshooting steps mentioned, but got no further. Ultimately, I am unable to stop the Backup Exec services. I found a support article regarding using the KILLEXE program to manually kill the processes and stop the services: -

I tried this, but the services still appear to be running and I can't seem to stop or start them. I have tried to do a repair install, but this sticks at Initializing install components.
This server reboots every night, but this again, seems to make no difference.

Do you want to uninstall and reinstall Backup Exec?

Do you wish to perform a fresh installation of backup exec?Or do you want to continue the troubleshooting of the issues as "Scheduled backup jobs disappears form the job monitor window" and "device offline.

Please elaborate the query to further troubleshhot this issue.
