Cleaning tape email alert?

I'd like to be notified by email whenever a cleaning tape is required to be used on the tape drive. Is this possible to set up? I use Backup Exec Version 10 w/sp1

i dont think you can set up an automated email for that, but what you could do is open notepad, Write something like Remember to Clean Tape Drive then set a Scheduled Task to run once a month that will display the notepad file on your system or on the server.
