Completed with exceptions using AOFO

We are using Veritas 9.1 with AOFO but still have an issue with open files. Each backup completing with extensions, why???
Error: Unable to open the item ......
How I can I fix it? Already tried to reinstall AOFO.

What all are you backing up?
are you backing up remote machines? Ensure that the driver vsp.sys is present on the machines that are being backed up.
Have you installed the AOFO licenses? what all files are being skipped?

Hi, yes I am creating backup of the remote systems (servers). I have install AOFO licenses and vsp.sys also there. In most cases it's skipping Access DB's.

The files that are getting skipped are of the name resolution system that you are using (WINS) and automatic IP Assignment service (DHCP)?

The DHCP and WINS databases are skipped during normal file level backup
because these databases are open. The configuration information of these
databases is stored in System State portion but the actual database is
stored in the respective files created for these databases. Therefore, to
completely backup these databases System state as well as the respective
databases should be backed up. System State can be backed up in Backup
Exec.Refer to the following articles on Microsoft support web site to

The DHCP database can be backed up by selecting "WINNT\system32\DHCP"
folder in backup selections. As long as this directory is included in the
normal
backups, the information from DHCP.mdb is being backed up. The WINS
database is backed up by starting WINS MMC snap-in and and then selecting
Back Up Database. A backup is performed under WINNT\System32\Wins folder.
Backup of this folder will perform backup of WINS database. Please refer
the following technotes for WINS and DHCP backups. This technote applies to
WINS
backup in Windows NT but it will provide you relevant information.
