Converting Backup Exec 2012 to licensed version

Is it possible to convert the 2012 Trial or am i forced to re-install?  I have already made the purchase but see no way to convert.

Hi, you can use your existing Backup Exec 2012 install. You just need to add the licenses by going to 'Installation and Licensing' > 'Install options and licenses'. You can import Symantec License Files (SLF) or enter serial numbers.
