Copyjobs fail after an catalog error on disk-backup

I try to schedule a CopyJob (to Tape) of an ToDiskJob
The ToDiskJob stores all data but at the end of the job there is the following message:
Catalog Error
V-79-65535-65534 - There is not enough disk space available on drive D: to write the on-disk catalogs.
Only 302396.71 MB of disk space is available. Free some space on the volume, and then try the operation again.
I'm running BE 10.0 V5484 and as far as i found other posts, this is not a problem of the free space. May be there is a problem with to much space free? because integer overflow i.e?
If I then start the copy of an existing job manually the backup works
so the catalog data could not be that damaged, right?
Is this a known issue of 10.x?

Please let me know what to do exactly!
a)Is this fixed in a current hotfix/service pack?
b)do i have to reorg/delete the catalog?
c)what else?
It's an urgent issue
thanks for help

Hi,

Have you installed SP1 for Backupexec? If not, please install it.

Got the same problem. I have all patches/packs installed.

Media Server & Console Ver 10.0 Rev 5484

My Disk C: only had 2.5 Gig available so I moved the On-Disk Catalogs to Drive E: with 25 Gigs available but I still get the same error at what appears to be the end of the backup.

Hi,

The error occurs because the operation has been canceled manually or a time limit has been set for the backup and that limit has been exceeded. For example, if Enable Automatic Cancellation was selected in the Schedule Options of the Backup Job Properties, the job will be canceled if the run time exceeds the amount of time specified.

As you can see I have a BE 10.0 running
so installing SP1 for 10.1 is not the best idea, isn't it?
Please give me further hints. Thanks

Hello,

Since monday I have this same problem, with same version of BE.

There is not enough disk space available on drive D: to write the on-disk catalogs.

Only 186527.31 MB of disk space is available. Free some space on the volume, and then try the operation again.

I moved the catalogs to de D drive, to be sure that it was not the free space that would cause the error. Unfortunatly it did not solve the issue.

I am using BE now for several years and suddenly this happens, hopefully somebody found the solution for this issue.

Thanks,
Stefan
