Credential Test failing

cody_a

I am running Backup Exec 2012 and I have a bunch of servers that are on our Domain and bunch of servers that aren't.  The servers that are on the domain have no issue with credential logon but the ones that just have local login accounts won't pass the test.

I am including a screenshot of what is going on.

Make sure that there is a local  account on those machines matching the account you define in backup exec and that it has the same password.

Also make sure that the local user on these servers have the following permissions

Hi

I would suggest you to configure new account called bkadmin in the workgroup and then add that user in group called Administrators

Once done create same account in AD too with same password which you had used creating bkadmin account in workgroup and add this in domain admin & administrators group

Apart from it please give the following service righs on Media server and the remote workgroup server and then after adding that account in backup exec try to browse using that account and see if that helps

Hope that helps

Thanks
