I have setup db2 agent on my Media server connecting to Windows 2003 server running db2. Can get a successful online backup. I have also got logs archiving too.
I am having to replicate a db2 setup which uses netbackup. They have told me I need to setup a way to move the archived logs to tape. The script that calls this in the netbackup scenario uses the command string:
bparchive_cmd="c/progra~1/veritas/netbackup/bin/bparchive.exe -p $nb_policy_name -s $nb_schedule_name -L $nb_log_file"
bparchive_cmd="$bparchive_cmd -w -k ""'""DB2LOG $DB_ID $JOB_NAME $date_time""'"" -f $archive_list_file"
Can I do this in Backup Exec?
